I live in the beautiful City of Roses (aka Portland, Oregon). By day, I’m a lawyer, but don’t hold that against me. My job is actually quite fun, except the occasional day when I have to wear a suit and hose. By night, I explore my childhood passion for writing. My first novel, Thirty Nights, is a story about love’s power to guide us even at our darkest moments… and to equalize us in ways laws cannot.
In my “free” time, I like to get lost in Powell’s Bookstore (especially the Russian literature and Jane Austen aisles). I’ve also been known to drool over shoes on any store window (especially Imelda’s), buy ridiculous colors of nail polish, and dance to everything from Beyoncé to Johnny Cash.
But above all, I love spending time with my family, who really believe I’m the world’s best writer, and with my friends, who should ban me from talking about the book for at least two years after the release date.

Hi Jenni, thank you so much for giving the blog a shot. Just click on the tabs, and you will see. 30 Nights of Snow tab is the tab for the original TMM. Only the first 12 chapters are up but i am adding the other’s everyday. Aiden’s Nights is TMM, from Aiden’s POV. I only have 4 chapters there so far. 30 Nights Poems, are the poems I am writing for each chapter of 30 N. 90 Days of Hale on the home post is the prologue to the sequel. I have just started reading thirty nights of snow. Only could read to chapter 12 and my question is will you be posting more chapters later. I have just really enjoyed your story it is so touching and just plain out wonderful

Totally random thought here, but I was just looking at your Pinterest board for this story. While I LOVE the idea of Elizabeth Taylor as the inspiration for Isa (esp her eyes), it’s actually hard to find a picture of Elizabeth Taylor without her eyes completely rimmed in kohl/ eyeliner. It’s hard to for me to image Isa looking anything like Liz Taylor because she isn’t the type of girl to wear so much makeup. Know what I mean? If there were a pic of a makeup-less Liz, I’d love to see it!
Hey there – I know, it’s hard to find many pics of her without kohl eyes. There is the black and white one at the bottom that is somewhat close. And also the ones with short hair… and of course the movies. I haven’t found many that look like my true Elisa but the ones that comes close are the ones with short hair.
Just found a couple kohl-less ones and put them up, but not many. Anyway, Isa does not use make-up and it’s really bad at it.

We got a very short notice to have to move which turned our world upside down. Ended up negotiating more time but between that, searching for a new place, work, packing, and some other messes, I barely had time to eat. Hopefully the new chapter is worth the wait for you.
